We are happy to welcome travellers from across Canada again and are excited about re-activating the Revelstoke Railway Museum.  As British Columbia proceeds through its Restart Plan, our goal remains ensuring everyone at the Museum - our people and our visitors – are safe while enjoying the Museum.

We ask for your patience as we work to rejuvenate our museum experience.   Thank you for your understanding and for working with us to keep everyone safe.

What we’re doing to keep you safe:

  • Encouraging physical distancing and one-way flow with signage, arrows, and route markers.

  • Providing access to hand sanitizer and doing regular cleaning and disinfecting throughout our museum.

  • Providing physical barriers such as plexiglass shields in our customer service areas.

  • Limiting hands-on or potentially crowded elements. The Kid’s Caboose area, Steam Locomotive Cab, Caboose 437477 and Theatre are all closed for this reason.  Likewise, we are not offering birthday party rentals except in our Museum’s outdoor park.

  • Our staff and volunteers continue to wear masks at all times in our indoor spaces.

What we’re asking of our guests:

  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well.

  • We strongly recommend wearing masks inside our museum, especially for those who haven’t been fully vaccinated.  We will give you a disposable mask if you need one.

  • Use the hand sanitizer provided throughout the Museum and in the Craigellachie Last Spike store.

  • Maintain social distancing and explore our indoor spaces by following marked routes.

  • When you buy your ticket, provide your name and telephone number, to assist with contact tracing should it become necessary.

  • Admission to the Museum depends on the current visitor load. Waits to enter the Museum are extremely rare and short.
