We are happy to welcome travellers from Canada and the world again!

We ask for your patience as we work to rejuvenate our museum experience.   Thank you for your understanding and for working with us to keep everyone safe.

What we’re doing to keep you safe:

  • Recommending use of masks by visitors.

  • Providing access to hand sanitizer and doing daily cleaning and disinfecting throughout our museum.

  • Providing physical barriers such as plexiglass shields in our customer service areas.

  • The Kid’s Caboose area, Steam Locomotive Cab, Caboose 437477 and Theatre remain closed for now.

  • We are not offering birthday party rentals except in our Museum’s outdoor park.

  • Our staff and volunteers continue to wear masks at all times in our public spaces.

What we’re asking of our guests:

  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well or have any COVID symptoms whatsoever.  Likewise, if you are in contact with persons who have COVID, please do not enter the Museum.

  • Masks are recommended, even though they are no longer mandatory.  We will give you a disposable mask if you need one.

  • Use the hand sanitizer provided throughout the Museum and in the Craigellachie Last Spike store.

  • Maintain social distancing as you explore our indoor spaces.
