Ever thought about volunteering?
Volunteering with us is a great way to engage with Revelstoke's heritage and meet other people who share a love of local history, the Canadian Pacific Railway, and trains. We offer a variety of roles for you to participate in many different ways.
Our volunteers have the flexibility to schedule themselves for a wide variety of volunteer roles, each of which provides vital support to a different aspect of museum operations. The Revelstoke Railways Museum recognizes that as a volunteer you give your time, abilities and enthusiasm freely to help us and we appreciate this significant support.
As a volunteer, you will have a wonderful time as a valuable part of our team that strives to create a welcoming environment for our many visitors. In return, we hope to give you an opportunity to explore our collections, to learn new things, and to share your skills and interests!

Current Volunteering Opportunities
Membership Program Administrator
This could be done at home. Tasks involve updating an Excel database as members join us or renew their memberships, and sending out pre-written renewal reminders on a monthly basis. Our ideal volunteer has administrative experience and is able to commit a couple of hours per week to this role.
